Welcome to the 2024 physics lab course leaders conference!

We are pleased to invite you to the annual Praktikumsleitertagung (PLT) of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für praktisches physikalisches Praktikum (AGPP) of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG). This year, the hosts are the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg from September 15 to 18, 2024. The PLT offers a great platform for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and innovations in the field of physics practicals.

What to expect?

The conference is a central meeting point for everyone involved in the organization and implementation of physics practicals at universities and colleges. It offers an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues, make new contacts, and gain insights into the practical design of other institutions.

Program highlights:

  • Presentation of the teaching organization: Innovative teaching and learning concepts of the conference organizer. Learn more about the organization and the special features of the various practicals as well as the degree programs with a physics focus.
  • Practical experiments in focus: Presentations on new or particularly outstanding practical experiments.
  • Exclusive tours: Take part in guided tours of the various physics practical facilities, including specialized physics practicals for medical physics, ancillary subjects, and student laboratories.
  • Company exhibition: A highlight of the conference is the company exhibition. Leading manufacturers present their latest products and solutions from the areas of teaching materials, measuring instruments, practical experiments, and software.

Who is the PLT for?

The PLT is aimed at laboratory leaders, lecturers, teachers, and everyone involved in the organization and implementation of physics practicals at universities and colleges. It is also a great opportunity for companies in the field of physics teaching materials to present their products to an interested and knowledgeable audience.
