Nonlinear Nanophotonic Group

Welcome to the webpages of the group Nonlinear Nanophotonics!

The research of the group concentrates on the area of nanophotonics and focuses especially on the integration of active processes like light emission and nonlinear optical frequency conversion into silicon photonics (“optics on the chip”). For this, fundamental questions  like light concentration, light-matter interaction in resonators and the control of optical dispersion in nanostructures play an important role. The group has strong connections and overlapping activities with the Centre of Innovation Competence (ZIK)    SiLi-nano at the Martin-Luther-University.
