Prof. Dr. Hans Roggendorf

After the study of the mineralogy Prof. Dr. Hans Roggendorf was introduced under the direction of Prof. Dr. H. Scholze at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Silicatforschung in the areas of glass, ceramics and binders. External doctorate at the TU Berlin (1986) and work to glass corrosion, soluble silicates and gypsum led to the activity in the binding agent industry (1992-95; utilisation of gypsum from power plants). 1995 the appointment occurred to the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg in the area of inorganic-nonmetallic materials. The research was focused on the work about structure and application of soluble silicates and glass corrosion.
