1st PhD Workshop Wittenberg 16./17.04.2009
This workshop was intended especially for our young researchers (e.g. PhD students, postdocs or diploma students). It should stimulate the contact and intense discussions between all scientists involved in the topics covered by the SFB 762 "Functionality of oxidic interfaces".
The workshop consisted of four longer tutorials on central topics presented by "senior" scientists (50 minutes each for talk and discussion), one central poster session (where each SFB project should present a poster on their ongoing research), and contributed talks from young scientists (15 minutes talk plus 10 minutes discussion). The contributed talks should either cover project results or, alternatively, present a hot, SFB-relevant publication (in a "Journal Club" fashion).
The second PhD workshop is planned for September 2009.
