Prof. Georg Woltersdorf appointed Max-Planck-Fellow – Research Projekt in Spintronics

07.01.2020: Prof. Dr. Georg Woltersdorf, Head of the Optics Group at the Institute of Physics of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) has been appointed Max Planck Fellow by the Max Planck Society in Munich for a period of five years. As a Max Planck Fellow, he will head a research group at the Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Microstructure Physics in Halle, Germany, which investigates dynamic phenomena in novel (spin)electronic materials using optical methods. The research is funded with 500,000 euros and serves as a basis for application in future storage elements.
