Statistical Physics Teacherstudents

Based upon the courses Statistical Physics I and Quantum Mechanics I this lecture gives an introduction to Non-Equilibrium Physics:

  • Stochastic processes (Master-equation, Brownian motion)
  • Thermodynamics of irreversible processes (conductivity, thermo-electrics, diffusion, thermo-diffusion, etc.)
  • Boltzmann-equation
  • Linear Response theory und Green's functions
  • Quantum field theory of non-equilibrium states
