Within the scheme of our annual meetings on "Electron Microscopy in Materials Science" the

14th Symposium
on
"Nanostructured Polymers / Nanocomposites"

will take place in Halle (Saale), Germany, on 18-19 May 2010.

The symposium will cover the following topics:

  • Application of electron microscopic techniques for morphological and micromechanical characterization of nano-structured polymers
  • Micro- and nanomechanics of polymers
  • Mechanisms for toughness enhancement of brittle polymers
  • Properties of electrospun nanofibers
  • Preparation and properties of lamellar polymers with improved properties
  • Nanocomposites and hybrid nanofibers for biomedical applications

Scientists from a number of countries will present their latest results and we cordially invite you to participate in the Symposium.
